The Transformation collection

Welcome to my apparel & accessory line launch!

Meaning Behind the Collection

For the past 5 years, major changes have shaken up my life like clockwork. While these shifts have not been easy and felt at times that they would break me, in the end it lead to tremendous growth.

We are more resilient than we give ourselves credit for.

Each of these difficult times; “mini-deaths” brought on it's own rebirth. It killed off relationships & situations that were no longer serving my life and launched me in a new direction. Each of those scenarios was uniquely difficult but helped me discover a new side to me that I didn’t see before. We are more resilient than we give ourselves credit for.

The goal of this collection is to showcase the journey that takes place during dark times. From being huddled in a cacoon away from clarity or knowing what's about to transpire to confidently fluttering your new wings and heading off on a new journey.

meaning behind the art

Moth with Heart

For some idiotic reason, people think moths aren’t as beautiful as butterflies. I know, I really don’t know what they are smoking because in my opinion, they are stunning.

The moth design paired with the writing: “beauty is everywhere” is a reflection of how people might see us or what we are going through as “ugly” but despite this, we choose to frame our own lens in life. I hid little hearts in the moth's design.

The Sassy Coccon

Low key, my favorite. I wanted to capture the frustration and annoyance of being pushed into a growth phase when I was fat and happy being a damn caterpillar inching my way through life. It also represents the need to let other people go as you go inward and focus on your own journey

Majestic Monarch Butterfly

My goal was to capture the regal beauty of a monarch butterfly, and she certainly is a show-stopper! My mom raises monarchs back in San Jose and sent me clips of them fluttering in the backyard and forcefully ejecting themselves from their old shells into their new state. This icon represents to me in your face celebration in the face of obstacles. I want people wearing or seeing this design on their mug to feel a regal sense of pride and opulence knowing you’ve been through hell and back but standing stronger than ever

Thank you Forthwall

I am really grateful to Forthwall for reaching out to me. I am so happy that I checked my spam folder that day and found Evan’s email! He was very kind and we had a really great one-on-one. I’m very picky about the UX of site design and I am blown away by Fourthwalls intuitive web building and design capabilities. So happy to be part of this ❤
